Live Life to the Max!
September 1, 2008
No feeling sorry for ourselves because Erin's tumor progressed. We have to live life to the max in honor and memory of Max Mikulak who died last night (age seven).
I read the news about Max this afternoon and just cried and cried. What a sweet boy and what a dreadful disease.
I'm sorry to hear of Erin's tumor progression. However, there doesn't seem to be a whole lot that slows that girl down! She stays busier than three people put together. I know you're very proud of your wonderful daughter.
And how does it feel to have a son living so far from home? Whew! I can't even imagine. Of course, it's a great adventure and learning experience for him; he will come with wonderful stories to tell.
Hang in there! Becky caringbridge.org/nc/sarahsmith
